Silverton Sporting Ranch is an upland hunting preserve, with sporting camps, sporting clays and much more in Maine. Registered Maine Guide and owner Denise Murchison has not only guided hunters to success in the field but has developed ways to enjoy the harvest at the table. Waterfowl hunting, goose in particular, has become Denise’s favorite hunting pastime but the taste of wild duck and goose wasn’t always a favorite. Our annual game dinner has inspired many recipes for a variety of wild game meats and this marinade for duck and goose has been a staple at the lodge for years. Many guests have decided they have to take up duck hunting after enjoying a meal made with Special Blend. After making the marinade for guests as a parting gift after their waterfowl hunts the decision was made to make this unique product to the duck and goose hunting public.
