We all know that 2020 has been a challenge In February I had 53 dates and events scheduled for the foodtruck. By March I had zero.
So what do you do to save your business? Pivot and adapt of course!
. Serving creations made with my sauces such as Apple Rum Pork Belly Burnt Ends with Orange Vodka Baked Beans, Pineapple Bourbon Sauce Smoked Pulled Chicken, BBQ Nachos featuring Apple Rum Sauce or Honey Bourbon Sauce and Mac N Cheese with pulled pork has been a big hit at events.
I was able to return to Newport and established a new location at Stevens Commons in Hallowell. Customers were very appreciative of the opportunity to get great food and return home limiting their potential exposure.
By joining www.foodtruck.pub for ordering I was able to provide contactless order pick up for customers.
The success also lead to serving at employee appreciation lunches for many companies.
In order to continue to offer meals while the foodtruck is parked I am so excited to announce that coming soon to go meals will be available at the lodge! This will also allow me to offer prepare items that I'm not able to offer on the foodtruck. Being able to serve meals in this rural community is exciting! Contactless pickup will be available.
You can also order sauces for local contactless PICK UP at the lodge.
